Pregnancy Photo Shoot with Araceli and Her Family

If you follow my blog, you probably already know that I’m mainly a wedding photographer Bristol and have photographed numerous weddings over the years. But I don’t just stop there; aside from offering wedding photography services, I also shoot other kinds of special occasions. It’s my way of acknowledging the fact that there are many important milestones in life other than weddings and using my skills as a wedding photographer Bath to make my friends and family happy.

Just recently, for example, I have had the honour of doing a pregnancy photo shoot for my friend Araceli. I loved having the opportunity to take beautiful pictures of the gorgeous mum-to-be and capture this special moment in her life. Many mothers have told me that pregnancy can sometimes feel too short and that the 40 or so weeks often fly by, so I was happy to document this important part of Araceli’s life and give her wonderful pictures of her with her baby bump. I hope she’ll share these photos with her family and friends and even show them to her future child when he or she grows up.

Araceli’s husband and her three-year-old boy Aron came along for the photo shoot. It was too good an opportunity to pass up, so we decided to have a few family photos, too. It was a great way to capture the love, care, and affection that Araceli’s husband had for her as well as the excitement (and perhaps a bit of hesitation!) that little Aron felt over the fact that he’d be a big brother soon.

The love that Araceli and her husband share is so tangible that I wish I was the person who’d done their wedding photography. It would have been heart-warming to see these two wonderful people walk down the aisle and say their “I Dos”! But I’m happy that I was given the chance to do their pregnancy and family photo shoot, and I loved that my photos were able to immortalise the thrill and excitement that they feel while waiting for their little one. I also liked the fact that Araceli’s child can look at the pictures I’ve taken a few years from now and say, “Hey, that’s me in mummy’s tummy!”

This photo shoot with Araceli and her family reminds me that being a wedding photographer Bristol or any kind of photographer is one of the best jobs there is and that I’m lucky to be one. By working as a wedding photographer Bath, I get to become a part of people’s lives at least for a few hours and have the chance to capture their smiles, tears, and laughter and immortalise these forever in clear, detailed, and high-quality photos. It’s a great way not just to earn a living but also to make a small but meaningful difference in the lives of other people.

Many thanks to Araceli and her family for letting me do their pregnancy and family shoot.
